new engine wanted

Ok dudes and dudettes,
It turns out that I *may* possibly need a new/second hand engine for my dub.
So much for the saving up business!!!
hehe :duh

So I'm just trying to get some feelers out to see if anyone knows of a second hand 1800 engine for sale anywhere.
Preferably painted lavendar to match my gearbox (JOKING!!!!!!! :P)

Anyone know of one?

and for anyone who knows, wot the damage for a 1200 beetle motor? (or a motor to bolt up to early 60's beetle)

for you info the 1200 is going to be a headf$$k

You cant ( or really reallly hard) to get 1200 pistons, barrels etc etc

MUCH easier to put a 1600 in there.

Now you need to muck round with clearancing bell housings and 12 V conversions etc
