It's soon gonna be time to paint the 67 beetle, better late than never I suppose.
There have been mad thoughts in my head about turning this into some sort of retro german (or aussie) police car.
Maybe even highway patrol if I can get away with it.
Should be a scream at car shows if I do it right.
Who wants to design it ? I'll give the winner full credit or if nobody has any ideas, I'll do it myself.
Need colour suggestions, white? or black, blue???
A real german one is green and white but looks a bit ho hum.
I want this to look fully sick maaate.
Warb is the sticker man who will have to make it happen
but a final design needs to be decided.

The Green and White would pick up any chrome bits perfectly and it would be so unique that people would go nuts.

Would have to use a nice deep british racing green, the real polizei is a brighter colour? German is the go I agree.

yeah as much as i would love to design up a sheriff car like that rat rod for you i, think theres heaps of refferance of the german cop cars to get started straight away ,go for it

Just a thought, if you put an orange light(s) on top the local cops probably wouldn't bust you for having it there.
oh...and not too low, not convincing as a cop car, and besides, you'd have to defect yourself 😀

perhaps have everything under the chrome strips green, and the roof and bonnet and deck lid white - so then the POLIZEI can be done in a white decal coz I'm pretty sure it supposed to be white on green... my2c..
