While theres ideas floating around for SAX's repaint, would be keen to hear suggestions for a Manx re-build /repaint.
There are certain colours that I think just wont work on a buggy.
Originally was thinking of a beige/tan suede looking roof with a british racing green body, aluminium bar work & centerline rims. A few others have been considered.
Open to any and all suggestions at this point.
Give us the details of your dream buggy.

any thing with a tan roof looks good to me
light to mid green with tan
blue with tan
even pink with tan (as long as it has the balls to pull it off)

rupsta and myself are rebuilding the manx and i've seen a few pics now like that yellow one with the fuel filler in the centre of the hood is that a mod you have to do or did that come out on later models as ours has it on the side near the front

I like the real old skool look.
Its gota be green metalic flake paint with lots of gold in it.
Tan roof as the yelow one above with matching tan MGB leather seats.
Widend and I mean realy widend std steel rims in silver with crome hub caps that you can hardley see as rims are so wide.
Thats my dreem buggy oh one day maybe.

Yeah looks like Green is the colour we are going to paint it, we just dropped the floor pan off to Custom offroad in Brisbane today to get the new floor put in and the body lift, IRS, roll bar, and combi box, and a few little things as well that we need fixing up.
so it should be home in a couple of weeks so i guess we will have to pull our finger out and start sanding the tub back as it had lots of patches in it but it's getting there the bonnet has not been started on yet
you can see all the patches in light blue were we been sanding to smooth out the tub
you can see the floor pan on the back of the ute on its way to Custom Offroad

THE HOLE IN THE BONNET IS STANDARD FRONT LEFT CAUSE ITS WHERE THE STANDARD FILLER IS ON A BEETLE
WE CAN MOVE IT FOR YOU IF YOU WANT AND GET THE BONNET REPAIRED EASY ENOUGH TOO FOR YOU
