Just thought I would take this last chance to post some pics of the bus.
I have a buyer flying in tonight so it might be the last chance to post some pics.
Just in the middle of giving it a wash, have adjusted the brakes including the hand brake and greased all the nipples, checked all the fluids etc.
If it does go I just wish that the new owner takes care of it.
I didnt think I would get this emotional but when you think about it I have spent 4 years of my life on this bus, and missed quite a bit of my daughter growing up, she is now nearly 3, its not as if I have just bought it and am now selling it.
It was a piece of crap when I got it and I have manage to turn it into a nice driving bus.
It is not concourse or totally perfect, but it is a genuine restored bus with no rust and everything is new and it was done in Dave style.

Mate all the best. If you have to get rid. I hope the new owners(should they take it from you) look after it well.

Good one Andy.
Just went for a cruise just incase. Had to check the brakes were O.K.(any excuse)
A hotrod Anglia gave me the peace sign and waved.
Also I was parked at a set of traffic lights and a couple in a new BMW soft top couldnt stop waving and giving the O.K. sign.
As I turned the corner I gave it a bit and suddenly about 4 cars behind me are flashing their lights and a woman pulls along side and shouts "you lost a hub cap, its on the side of the road at the corner, cool kombi"
How many people would chase another make of car to tell them that they lost a hubcap., it only happens in a bus.
As they say "its a bus thing"

I simply wouldn't sell it Dave. The money can't replace the time lost with loved ones, however starting again to achieve the same result with a different car can sacrifice MORE time away from loved ones...
You have worked so hard for what? To drive it for a few months and sell it? Hmm.. okay.
Anyway mate, all the best, and I just hope you don't regret which ever decision you make, cause that is the worst thing I think. "I shoulda kept that, I shoulda sold this.."

Had a bloke arrive yesterday and is very interested.
But as we went out all day in it and I just really enjoyed myself I am having second thoughts.
I did say that I wasnt sure if I would sell and after yesterday I am still not convinced I would be doing the right thing.
It drives so well. The prospective buyer couldnt believe how tight everything was.
I caught myself a few times even trying to put him off it??
A lot of people have contacted me from England and I told them I wouldnt sell it unless they actually saw it, I now know I was trying to put them off seeing it as they wouldnt be able to come over.
I would never make a car salesman.
I will have to think about this and see if I really am doing the right thing before he gets back to me.
I really didnt think it would be this hard just to sell a bus.

I dont like selling anything to anybody really, cause once i hand it over, I think about what i could have possibly used it for, and i feel empty inside.

The original intention was to have fun with it and when my daughter needs Uni money, then we would sell it.
