My senders are good but the guage jumps around alot. It has been taken apart and looks realy beat up inside. Can I buy a fuel guage for something else and mount it in the dash? what are the correct ohms reading for full / empty? It is from a 75 bus. Thanks

ive got a specometer fuel guage in my baja with the speco sender. works well. i dont know if u can use a different guage with the sender. why not look for another stock guage that isnt broken?

a gauge is probably easy to find, go to a wrecker and see if they got one. Im sure some1 here has a spare. Tracking down a new1 would be easier than fitting new sender and gauge.

Send a message to Karmann Cruiser on this forum, he deals in second hand good-quality gauges for VWs. I bought 2 bug ones from him and they are great (only fitted one so far). Great service too.

yes for about 150 you can get an auto meter gauge and sender
here is mine
