WHAT the HELL happened Here...?!?!?!?!?!?!?!:o

Are you gunna build a car out of that or wreck it for parts...??!!

LOL yeah wanted the centre tunnel, steering, and engine and gearbox. Was just a little rusted out so it was a oxy and lifting job after the initial few bolts. That’s how the YAWNING HIPPO look emerged. Amazingly a battery and some fuel in a can and she was running after like 20 minutes playing around (fuel pump was a bit gummed up). Was supposed to have a gearbox issue so I got it for free!! (Still haven’t found the gearbox issue tho). Aiming for a Class 9 or just a quality property off-roader.

Cheers all.

It's a shame you're on the other side of the country. I'd be paying you for some parts off that car if you were over here...

Ello,

1966 , 1300cc 'delux' . not planning to use any of the panels, most the factory chromed gear is fairly straight, glass is fine. If no one want it she will be going under a dozer then 12 foot underground. As long as its woth the time pulling it off i am happy to help out other dubbers.
Cheers.

(only offering shell NO Driveline is available).

Yep. Have a look at my Avatar. This is the way I found my Single Cab.

Here's my 54 on the first day, a thing of beauty. Not much advanced from this now though

Dub-Buggier ·

very nice saturday pickup Mr. Purple Martin. how far did she set you back?

Purple Martin ·

I paid $5655. It was built in 1959, it has a 1600 motor with Weber, new interior, CD player with amp and woofer, and it's got rego until December. It also came with a custom roof-rack that I took off for the long highway drive (which is why it's not in the pic).
