After a set (or even just the right hand) rear torsion bars from an Oval. These are the longer ones that look like Type 3 ones but aren't. I think there out of a 54 - 58.

New information : apparently swingaxle type3 torsion bars will also fit.

Prefer them to be in the Sydney area.

As far as I can work out, the Oval torsion bars are longer and thicker than later model bars. However, they are not as long as Type 3 bars. I have the spring plates with the extendered "beak" to accomodate the longer bars, but one of the bars I have is very pittered. I just want to find a replacement bar, then I can put it all in.

I have 2 and have marked them L and R so that they went back in on the correct side.

Not Sydney, but let me know if ya still need them.

56astro, have sent a U2U.

Swingaxle type three tortions are the same 24mm diameter and within 1mm of length. They are less likely to be pitted also. That should open up your optoins a little.

Thanks dangerous. Didn't know there was such a thing as Swingaxle Type 3. :o

Sound like they would do the job as well.

I have a set of Late Type 3 bars if you need them

Thanks Dave, but if they are Type 3 IRS then they are to long.
