This is my sons Jeep, he originally built it to play in the sand dunes. He started with the steel body and a 350, then glass body with a 383, he now has a 406 in it. As you can see he decided to try dragging it. Luckly he decided to take the motor out of the Jeep and build a 80's Monte to race. The jeep is just to short and tall for the speeds it would reach in the 1/4. Last year the strip near here only ran the 1/8th and he was running at 100mph in that distance

...very cool..... I'd imagine that's not easy to do in a jeep but then he has lighten the body and increase the engine power hey.....I luv the drags

once went for a ride in landcruiser shorty that could pick up the front wheels with no probs. it had a stocker 350 chev in it.
