Does anyone know if there is an active VW club in Canberra? If so, do you have their contact details? I've Googled and found a few links that all point to a website that is no longer available.

I know my brothers neighbour restores splittys and the like...He allways has 2 or 3 in the yard.

Woohoo! There are a batch of us currently working in forming a new VW club here in Canberra, as currently there is none (the previous one apprently folded a couple of years ago).

U2U me for details...or to SteveMk2, either.

We have our first event in a few months....

U guys n gals down there need to have an casual meeting one nite to kick things along.

Print up some brochures and do shopping center cars any VW will do if you post 10 flyers u might get 2 or 3 people who many want to join ....

Go to the VW dealers and Aftermarket shops as well with flyers on the parts counters etc etc

Thanks vw54, yes we have some ideas just along those lines, things are coming along, we just need to finalise our name.......

Yep, things are moving along fairly nicely. Just gotta get a couple of external things finalised and we are off...

Hey guys,

Definitly keen to be involved in something-Let me know if something eventuates. I'm the guy who lives next to that other guy's brother with the splitties.
There difinitly needs to be something done. I hope we could round up other splitties. Anybody know of others around town?:thumb

Theres a fella down in Canberra who is interested in setting up a branch of the 'Kombi Club'
It just needs something to pull people together, whatever thier vehicle.

You must be thinking of someone else. I've only had the red and white for a week (I bought it in Sydney so it's not a local car) and I haven't been to Shell Dickson with it. But I'm sure we'll be meeting at some point!
