I'm wanting any 1800 kombi engines complete or apart..................prefer cheapies or ones that are being given away!!! Don't need carbies,tinware, exhausts etc just long blocks or bottom ends.

Just dumped 4 longblocks..2 good 2 liter ones,good 1800 and dead 1800.Ya missed them by 2 weeks.......sorry

I've got a complete 1800 here in VIC - one bung cyclinder - other three are great - would still do 100km/h.
taking up space - open to offers....

Engine no: AP800####
Stripped down to short block with pistons still attached to rods.
Have the heads, barrels etc.

for my J&S buggy, largest sized engine needs to be less than 15% greater than a 1600cc.........................which equals 1840cc. So 1800 T4 is the best option.

OK, I can help you here.
I have
2lt engine + gearbox
Dissassembled engine, needs new oil pump, had been sitting for a while, gearbox condition unkown. From Kombi
1800 engine + gearbox
Again dissassembled, needs bearings and reco the heads (or replace), pretty good one, gearbox solid too.
Both have carbies (2lt ones pretty crap), boxes, exhaust (but again a bit rusty)...
Anything here of use to you?
