Monster Garage - '51 Split Bug?

Might be nothing, but it mentions Monster Garage doing a '51 split bug.....

Interesting.... Hope they do.... looks wrecked, so its prob the best thing for it.

Thats a tough call I guess from that one photo.....

But I do love that show ! I just saw the one where they build the Corvette Mud Bogger - 600HP !!!! and 4WD chain driven ! wicked.

They will throw a stack of cash at it, and someone will end up driving and enjoying what is otherwise a pile of rubble..

People will enjoy the process, and everyone will be entertained.... And maybe even learn something......

I hope they do something big with it... Make a statement...

You do realise Monsetr Garage will cut it up and turn it into something weird. It is not what you would call a resto show and as for throwing $$$ at it mmmm wrong show there as these guys work to a budget and cut as many corners as possible. The don't build for a long life they build for a quick test session then they get trashed.

not only that, but if it doesn't work then they will dynamite it or fill it full of bullets.

hehe - did you see the one with the RX7 sand rail ?

They lost that one and Jesse somehow managed to find a Chevy Suburban with a minigun mounted on its roof and filled it very full of bullets. It'd be a real shame to see it go that way.
