When he was with F.P.R they were having trouble with there left over Pommy made engines.
(that's what his Boss at F.P.R told me.)
But now Craig is with 888 look out SKAITH..
Lowdnes is a nice Bloke I've met him heaps of times, he wrote his name on the Dash of my XR8 once.
I also think Ambrose got shafted by the Officials.

yeah i heard the problems with the pommy built engines was they had no low down torque, it was all top end power, so they had to rev the $#!t out of it to get decent power. not good for launches, not good for corner exits, not good for engine reliability.

when did ford or holden last sell a pushrod v8 under 5 litres
with a live rear axle ? not in the vy or ba I'd bet
at least they still have similar outer body panels
racing no longer improves road cars
the yobbos didnt like being beaten at bathurst by 2.5 litre japanese cars that could pass rego with a new set of tyres
the skylines still had factory air and power windows, why carry dead weight when they handicap you?

But when the engine man at stone brothers goes to holden, theres nothing but red lions everywhere. I love wathing the V8's but dont have anyone in particular id like to win. So long as it isnt mark skaife, jason bright or paul morris nor a one horse race. I think there are some really talentless people playing the game these days. rick kelly (sometimes todd) paul morris, steven ellery.... and david besnard isnt driving as well as his record suggests he should.
steve johnson is a good guy too. worked in the pit next door to dick in 1994 12 hr. We had a few.... ok had a shitload of drinks at the leagues club afterwards. skaife on the other hand..... is a tosser.
