lol, thats a heck of alot of weight on the roof of the 54 in the 1st photo lol. Well, looks really heavy.

yeah, funny story about that, we were pulling up in the driveway at a freinds farm at Mendooran out near Dubbo & Uncle Mac saw us coming & yelled out "hey Brenda! come quick & have a look there is a bug with the mumps!"

it's my daily driver some days , the 1600 is fast enough for me, considering the brakes, can anyone tell me how you do a right hand turn at busy roundabout with only semaphores ?

great comparison you wouldn't see many of those around
great family history being made..
put one of your kids in a shot and you know in years to come do the same pic..
of course you'll be compelled to keep the 54 for the pics to come but hey thats not too bad an idea 😎

I bet the reaction from your mum was priceless.
So can you duplicate the old pic in the same location?

Comparing hte pic's, you either need to lower the new one, or throw some more weight in it 😀

Welcome to the world of 54's where nothing is the same as any other oval.
I was thinking of buying that car, looks very neat. Do you know what month the old pic and your new one is? Just curious... the old pics might be an early 54 as it looks as if it has the bigger hubcaps and maybe 16" wheels.
