Well saturday was a blast and the most fun you can have in a car without taking your clothes off!!!
I normally love doing khanacross, autocross, dirt sprints but was building up to doing some of the road rallies. Unfortunatley due to time constraints (for prep) i was un able to enter the Coastal challenge, but instead got to nav in a mates car form the VWDCQ, We got a few wierd looks as an EVO8 lancer pulls up with a VWDCQ sticker on the rear window...................
its sort of like a mini indy rally, east coast rally etc, but run over 250km, with 5 x 1 to 2 km special stages and only over one day. the event is run beside the ARC round in qld, and we got a run on the imbil special stage (they canceled our run on the kings beach special stage 🙁 ) We only topped 220 on the flying finish :O the experince is just awesome...... speed, navigation, driving etc, it was just a awesome event!!!
the most amzing this was teh braking, this car just stops!!! and goes like there is no tomorrow.........
Well plans are now to team up for the QLD Challenge, Indy rally and mabye mabye east coast targa............
everybody should do something like this in their lives.....
