The VW club of WA is organising a advance screening of Herbie Fully Loaded and would like a Herbie look alike to be there.
Does anyone know of the whereabouts of any Herbie look alikes in WA?

Nope, but I know I should be coming along to the screening... 🙂

If you go to the new Volkswagen place in Osborne Park they have got one out the front.

I have a 63 factory sunroof L87 pearl white beetle. Unfortunately he (Gadget) is not registered, but I drove it the other day from the Eastern suburbs thru to leederville and it went like......Herbie!!!! Disney have asked me to lend them the car for some event but apparently Greater Union are messing them about, so they called it off.

The Bug at the VW dealership is not a very accurate depiction of Herbie. The year is wrong (its post 64), and the stripes and numbers are the wrong fonts and dimensions. But dont you just love those large windows?!

I think they are trying to get something that is quite close to the real Herbie, but a 64 Herbie look a like maybe good enough.

So when is this advance screening happening?

Hope this helps..............

I saw the movie today, err yesterday now, was a lot of fun.
There was a good turnout of VW's in the car park and the 'Herbie' from Osbourne Park VW was there too.
