Had Verns front wheel bearing replaced yesterday and the rear ones next Monday
Still noticed a squeaking/grinding kinda niose last night
Might have to take beer down to Dubcrazys and take him for a drive

we got planes up there, but probably out of Townsville and Amberley (that may explain why the pigs were parked over that side of the airfield when I was at work on Monday 🙂)

um, no, i believe you, it ok.
the weather is beutiful, we can actually see the sun. probly 15deg, give or take, which a hell of a lot better than last week.
bagdad on the main highway, 35-40mins north of hobart. but 20min is a long way for most taswegians, and lots of us don't know where bagdad is either.

yeah ok i just didnt know where it was but i can guess i ve been down there a few times and done a bit of driving down there. im glad its good sorry i actually had to go and do some work watching someone else work. tell you what though ive never partied so hard as i did last time i was in hobart

ok mate i will try, what i normally do is not post anything that cant be got off the navy website anyway. are you from the forces? im not up set mate as there is a lot of us on this forum. most of the stuff i post is common knowledge of the public. but if you are worried about it ill try to stop or limit what i post

I've applied for a job wth that company that builds the collins class subs. Will be based in perth doing somehting or other about some new ship contract or something or other. Fingers crossed. Have they fixed them subs up yet? I guess they are better than the russian ones, we can get em to float when we need to.
I've been bored for months. I've just about ran out of credit so cant play online euchre tournaments anymore. Start work on Monday. I guess it'll be a few weeks before I am ready for a sicky. Although the ashes starts again next thursday doesnt it? Might have to stay up all night and have a sicky friday. Would be 'unaustraaalyian' for me not to.

Yeah noticed there are alot of ADF guys about on this site. I'm a RAAFie myself. seen a few VW's around where I work. Got me out of a few trouble spots actually. My WOFF at an old posting had a beetle. So i covered the walls of my room in VW posters and pics of my old beetle to distract him when I was getting insepctions.

my best mate was working at one of the raaf bases down there but hes navy or at least at the moment. he is LSCSO Gordon did you know him when he was down there? like i said most of the stuff i post is know by the locals when we are there anyway, plus peter(vern) is the harbour master in gladestone or some thing like that so he knows more about whats happening up there than i do.

maybe did he join up around january 2000. cause there was a baird in the division before me. if not i most likely havent seen him as im not at garden island but at waterhen, which is the other side of the harbour
