Thursday, fitted the safaris (from Creative Engineering) to the old girl, I just think they suit it, makes it complete
Trouble is, it has rained ever since, so I cant even go for a pose

they are pretty easy to fit, but very time consuming.
My mate back in the UK fitted the 'Busboys' safaris, which he ended up changing. The Creative Safaris are so much better, much stronger and just look a better product and come with everything needed for installation.
These are the first safaris I have had and I cant wait to go for a cruise.

Looking good Roy,nothing much better than a split with a set of safaris!!:kiss

I do have to honestly agree, Its incredible how a set of safaris can really shanz up a split and make it look really nice. Good on ya' mate, I will have to keep an eye out for ya as u drive around Gold coast.

Went for a drive today...... bloody freezing, my eyes were watering and my cheeks and lips were flapping about like 10 G force on my face and I was only going 40mph.
Hey, but it was bloody brilliant.
bajachris88 ·
True, lol. Would be great during the sweaty queensland summers though. 🙂
At lest it looks nice.😎

if you look at them 2 pics close together, and really fast, it look like your bus is fluttering its eye lids...bout time you got it rastasafari'd Roy..good work.

Do they come with a balaklava and gloves????
Cheers

I want one of those world war 2 fighter helmets with the goggles, anyone got a set??
Its great Dave trouble is your eyes look as though you have had no sleep for 6 days, your hair is wind blown back like chewy on Star wars and you get flies stuck in your teeth from laughing while they're up.
Other than that, brilliant

look great Roy. The old girl looks awesome.

Mr Grumpy
should do the price Creative charge, daylight robbery!
looks real nice.
love the color
ClassicVW(pacific) ·
get outta here !!!
They are a bloody good price, as far as I know they are the strongest safaris on the market and made from Alluminium so they will never rust like the American alternatives.
They are made to exacting standards, as close to original as you can get.
Would never buy anything else.
Cheers

what colours are on the bus? - are they VW colours. Got codes or mixes? Love it mate.
kombibob ·
looking sweet roy
but take it from me don't drive without a hat and sunnies.
ClassicVW(pacific) ·
The top colour is VW polar white, The bottom colour is made up.
I was looking for the bottom colour for ages until my daughter bought a new hand bag, when she came in the house with it, that was it the colour I wanted. So I took the bag into the paint shop and they matched it spot on.
You get some funny looks I can tell you!!!!
I can easily paint a colour sample and send it to you, no problem.
