Roy from classic vw posted this for me in the help forum, thanks roy. Thought it might get a bit more viewers in here though. I'm broken down at the bp servo, northbound, at Forest Glen on the sunshine Coast. I am in need of a 30 amp generator by the looks of it, so i'm calling on all you sunnycoast dubbers to help out...please. Any further corespondence by mobile, as i cant get back to this pc.

Shane is currently still stuck with his combi. he got a new regulator and new brushes for the generator but it seems that the generator is stuffed.
He is sleeping in his kombi again tonight and still needs a generator.....
he needs to get the kombi running again asap so he can get to a job in Mackay. If anyone can help him out please call him on his mobile, otherwise he will have to wait until something opens on tuesday to get a generator. He is already a day and a half behind schedule.

Hi again.............Stuart here. Shane went to buderim on tuesday and saw a vw mechanic who was able to supply and fit a replacement geny for him and he must have driven all night . I got a call from him at 9am today saying that he arrived safely in Mackay at about 7am.
On behalf of Shane let me say thank you to all who helped in one way or another, even if only a word of encouragement.
Vee Dubbers rule!...........wish I still had one. lol.
