The Oildrippers had a few a couple of years ago and they were cool.So im looking to orginise a cruise night.It has to take place once a month and isnt really a cruise just a meet/.So if anyone can come up with a good central meeting place,somewhere with good parking where we could line up our rides and hang out for a few hours.So anyone got any sugestions.victoria only[sorry]

The top of Mt Dandenong? There's plenty of parks up there - if they're not taken up by ricers or bikers or ppl making out... otherwise, theres a few car parks in Brighton which should be empty at this time of year.. Brad? know of any?

Yes KK we did meet at the Jam. Yeah I know what you've got in mind. I was thinking the same but I don't know where there is anything like it.
I thought of the Espy, (Esplanade Hotel), with the cars parked out front, but it's hard enough to get a park there at the best of times, and if you didn't keep an eye on them they'd be gone in no time.
Where did the Oildrippers meet. Was that at Maccas Elsternwick? That's not a bad location. Elsternwick Junction. Easy to get to, plenty of parking, there's a service lane for any overflow, you can sit inside and still see the cars outside.

yeh i recon its a pretty cool spot Brad we had some nice cars there and it is quite central.Ok then i recon we have em there again [only until krispy kreme donuts opens].Now thats the easiest bit the hard bit is what time and day>I was thinking of doing it monthly.So on a certain day of each month we can gather look at rides swap parts talk shit and show off our rides.

Yeah, we've gotta get off our @r$&$. Where's Tatura Jim? The Elsternwick pub is good too, but it's prob best we have a milkshake rather than a beer if we're all driving our pride and joy home.....Maccas could be good.
I reckon a Saturday night would be ideal. 1st Saturday of the month. 8.00 - 8.30 till whenever.
I like the idea of camping......having a Camper and all 😉 Is that the sort of thing we could do up your way Jim?

Sounds like a great idea guys, Im all up for the Tatura party!
Wont be able to make the cruise nights tho, as the Bendigo club has its runs on the first Sunday of the month and as the president thats kinda my priority.
On a side note, me and the family are moving out to the Old Volks Home this weekend, So we'll have to have a huge Oildrippers campout, with 23 acres theres plenty of room and over 50 VW's theres plenty to look at!
