Hi

I reckon that the Mazda 1500 (twin headlights in forground) was really nice looking car, way ahead of its time.

Yeah I t is a Mazda 1500 in the foreground. The guy who took the pics is off a Mazda Rotary forum.

57kombi ·

Its not worth saving, infact the pop-out hinge is now on Rob Kings twin cab.
The near side pillars have also been cut out and the cab floors are shot.

Cheers

~air fooled~ ·

my dad had a vauxhall viva he bought for $20 from the tool up the road. fixed the dodgy wiring and some new oil, some rego and whammo it was a machine... my strongest memory of it was of him driving off into a cyclone in it to go save his mum and sister caught in a house being torn to pieces.... he was my hero for that day... viva vs cyclone... what a madman... he ended up selling it for $20 back to the tool he bought it off haha... it had given up the ghost by then, a few years down the track...wish he still had it....

this should upset the mazda men ,I had a coupe one of those and it was a factory 1800 sport
it was a real good paddock basher I sent it to the crushers
no one was interested in it back then (1985)
