I have 2 L bugs I am going to part out. Both complete without engines. One has a hit in the front the other is straight.

14" Globe mags, transmissions etc etc

what's the gearboxes like?

Gearbox is fine. $200 for a single side plate with a drive warranty. A drive warranty means it will work fine when you put it in but after that you are on your own. Same as if you were to drive the car and test the box really.
