hey everyone im jsut wondering wat rear shocks to get for my 63 bug,it is lowered now and the rears need to be replaced,what brands have u guys used,and wat are the sizes etc?pls help as i need them for tomorrow

got monroe in mine the gas shocks are great

Cofap are available at MOST VW Aftermarket shops like Mick Motors - SKH Motors etc.... depending on what state You are in.....
Pedders also have shocks for Beetles etc...
I have some Pedders gas shocks on My Beetle....
Monroe are Australian Made shocks...
Oil shocks are best for the front......
Gas pressurised at the rear... because of all the weight...

pedders ive heard are pretty good too,i only need to do the rear at the moment,do u have any part numbers 68auto?

Sorry I don't have any part numbers...
Pedders are very professional, so they would have a list of cars that they can fit shocks to.....
Their shocks would have to be good as their business depends on them.....
plus they have branches in Most capital cities...

Pedders are just Monroe shocks with a higher price tag.
