am curious what you all think a NSW registered buggy with short wheel base, like this for example would be worth.

Hey twoguns, I recently bought an example that looks similar in model to yours, but probably not in as wonderful nick. I thought I was picking it up fairly cheaply but of course, things were lurking and I'm still dishing out the $$ to get it roadworthy.

You need to look more into detail, eg is it currently rego'd, or has it elapsed? Are the engineering papers with it? Is there any work needing doing to it, or is it ready for the new user?

Mine looked fairly ready bar some small things, but it has recently just opened up to more stuff that I was not aware of.

Once the condition is known, maybe better ideas of prices can be worked out.

ah, sorry phantom. this unit is mine. i am thinking of letting it go. its fully rego'd, its a good runner, everything works. jsut would like to know what it might fetch. i am not allowed to buy no more things with out making sacrifices, so unless some ones wants jemma, my brand new buell, then i have to think about the buggy.

but thanks for your thoughts.

twoguns ·

hmmm, or my dcab. but he choices on which to let go are very very hard. 🤪

is it certified?

6k?

Since the recent work you have done 2g i would say $7,500 to $8,000.
It doesn't have a roof does it?

I would sell that kit car you got first.
other wise you will have no buggy to join us in november

jakjones ·

Is it certified or just rego as a bug ?
this will affect the price ...

twoguns ·

certified and rego'd as a beach buggy. nope no roof. and yes i think the dino will go.nn[ Edited on 30/6/2005 by twoguns ]

Hey twoguns, its a nice looker, being certified and rego'd, ready to go, I would assume at least the 6 to 7 mark. But I'm a newbie to this offroad area and really unsure.

I can certainly attest to the work needed to put these things on the road, hopefully the missus forgives me one day!

condor kit ( australian built 1979/80) body, is based on the ferari dino 246 GT. fits a t3 floor pan straight. nothing more required than an un bolt and then a rebolt, wire of electrics and paint.

my unit is unfortunately missing the dash and engine lids. easy enough to make. the doors are full funtioning with locks. the windows wind up and down, all windows are there. i have jsut been waiting for the right donor car to come along, and for lois, my ute, to be finished, and more time.... new i shouldntve bought my buell. nn[ Edited on 1/7/2005 by twoguns ]
