certainly do will go straight in BUT you will be a lot better off if you use a stock dizzy if you can. what carb/s are you using??

just planning ahead, I intend to do up a Type 4 in the future and was wondering aboutdizzies. It would have dells webers or perhaps aftermarket fuel injection. Mitchell

Why?
Robo ·
Had a bit of a flat spot, I spose it is cause the Kombi engine is a bit of a plodder, it's rev's that make a mechanical advance work.

if you are doing aftermarket inj why not go the whole hog and do timing as well there are plenty of a/m modules to do it and theres a wealth of info on ign maps alljust a crank trigger away

how do you do a crank trigger on a type 4 with the stock fan?
it may be better to get an electronic dizzy that has a second sensor for crank angle. Vintage sell them last i heard, or you can modify a magna efi dizzy.
