petrol leak at carby

i had a electric petrol pump for a while but the noise that it would make was just too loud.even when it had petrol in it.
sp i took it back to see if it was faulty a couple of weeks later that swaped itover for another one very good not a sound.
but it started to push the petrol into my craby so strong that you could hear it gurgle.
i replaces the needle and seat yes the gurgle stopped but it still leaks a little petrol still from the same spot on the carby.anyone can suggest anything other then putting on the old pump.please

i havnt had any experience with these, but sounds like the pump is pushing pretty hard, maybe putting a fuel pressure regulator between pump and carby would help

definantly need a regulator... not sure about what pressure it should be set to... some1 here will know...

there ya go! one question... if its an electric pump, and you have a regulator, wouldnt it just be set at one pressure setting.... or is that the output of the stock pump, thats why ur writing rpm?

This is the fuel pump pressure for the stock mechanical pumps.

where is it leaking from?????
just take the carb off and inspect the gaskets/seals,
if there are any bad seals replace them then go from there.i recently bought a carb rebuild kit and there'v got pretty much every gasket/seal u need. but maybe its just one little seal u need!.

slightly off the subject ..did you get your front end sorted out yet??? and whats wrong with a mech fuel pump they are made for the application:beer:beer
