Hi All,
Well after a very successful 1st camping weekend at Byron last month the Run to the Sun will be even BETTER. We will be staying on Bribie Island for the weekend ( dont know which park yet ). It will be similar to the last weekend with entertainment on Saturday for both adults and kids. BBQ dinner supplied and cooked ( if anyone wants to bring a plate of there favorite finger food or salad feel free ). AND of couse a FANCY DRESS PARTY! The theme for the fancy dress is F anything begining with F.
And dont forget ALL CLUBS WELCOME.

The location details are finalised now,
Bribie Island Caravan Park. We have booked all the spaces we could, if you are intending on staying the Saturday night and having a ball, please let us know as spaces are limited.
If you just want to come for the Sunday we will be meeting in Woorim Car Park at 10.00am and having a cruise to a destination being sorted by the Bribie contingent.

Sunday's display in the bluey's car park is all go! the pub next door has a band playing at 1pm and have the car park blocked off for us.It's also going to be advertised in the local paper so
the more vee dubs the better.

Okay........got a question just to clarify for those driving up on Sunday. There was a post about meeting at Woorim park with those driving up and then going for a cruise..............are we still meeting at the park at 10am and then cruising to Blueys or just meeting there?

We are cruising at 10am sharp, the Bribie lads are plotting the short course. Then back to the Pub Car park to 'park and display', The landlord is blocking off some spaces for us.
Then we are leaving at 2am for the cruise back

I,ve been told by a local that bribie is like a big retirement village where the locals putt around, This will be perfect cos' while the 1835 is out getting new heads and carb, the current replacement clapped out 1600 will be pushing it just to keep up with the pensioners in their electric shopping scooters especially with the trailer on the back ! Cant wait to hit the beach...........NOT.

OK still dont know the name of the servo north of gateway bridge but it's called the service centre and it has a macca's and it's the 1st 1 on the left after the bridge.The convoy will be stopping there approx. 9.15-9.30 depending on traffic. See you all there. F's the word.

Just the biggest VW cruise, Bribie has ever hosted and a park and display on the Sunday at the pub car park.
