Does anyone know the name of the light Blue colour used on ealy 60's Beetles? I would say its sky blue but whats the proper name and the colour code?

sea blue or bahama blue for starters

Just went and checked out my 59 which is a sky blue color. The sticker under the bonnet called it strato blue CLR501.

bahama blue is green

just like my old hyundi was peacock green that was metalic blue

Thanks guys, looking at the colour chips it seems either Strato blue or Bermuda Blue is the colour iam looking for.
would these colours be listed at paint suppliers here in Oz?

yep just go to your fav auto paint supplier armed with as much info as possible and they will help ...what are you doing it in 2pac or acrylic?
