Not VW - Downloading question

Hi everyone..
Wondering if anyone can tell me ........is it possible to download music (preferably free!!) that can be burnt onto cd's and played in standard cd players?? It seems to me that all the music is for mp3/ipods only - or can be downloaded to computer but not burnt onto CD??.

Not that I plan to download and copy music or anything like that - just need to know...😁

on iTunes i can burn cd's,

I find iTunes the best of these things as i can load to the sods iPod and i can burn compilation CD's or just copy CD's

any decent burning program like nero can burn proper audio cds straight from mp3 files

you are not allowed to download music from places like limewire, emule, soulkool type p2p. Its very naughty...dontcha know Record label execs now have to drive production line cars and rock stars can only afford 10 private jets, what are you thinking!, go out an buy 'em, else the hommies will not have no bling bling,Jessica might actually have to eat tuna and the hoodies might actually have to learn to write and play music live again for living.

thanks for the input everyone....I think i got it sussed....except why can it take days to download from emule?? I have broadband too.

because the files are fragmented, multiple sources and millions of concurrent users. No worries.

we download from ARES takes only a few minutes to get a song,or about an hour for a movie,,,,

that said. if u have Mp3's (preferably legal ones) and u have a decent buring program like easy cd creator or nero u can use the program to burn an audio cd instead of a data cd which will then play in an ordanary cd player.

yep, this type of shit's illegal.

nero does it as well, you just need to go 'burn audio cd' an it converts from mp3 to cda (normal cd audio codec) automatically.

while its here... if you want music and dont want to use spyware, use MIRC (www.mirc.com).. connet to an undernet server and join a channel like #MP3CENTRAL .. easy, no wait...

Limewire is great, especially now I have broadband.
