Just got back from a quick visit to the initial meet up for the Brisbane Karmann Cruise. I am sure others will add to these pics so this is just a selection. I have to work on my beetle, and my brother in law has to look after his bub so we couldn't attend the cruise up to bribie.

Congratulations to John Waldron and team for organising the cruise. Some fine examples turned up for the day. This event and others across the nation will be featured in Issue#8 at the end of the year, which will be a Karmann 50th special

what a lovely day for a drive ,20 deg cloudless skies and a veiw over the water back to the mainland ,pretty hard to top that..what happened roy, my partner and myself went over the road for coffee came back and the place was deserted.

A great day - the gods were smiling as the weather was fantastic. The cabriolet owners certainly took advantage of it.
Thanks to everyone who attended, particulary the other VW owners out to support the KGs.
I recieved some great feedback and the Karmann Kruise is to be an annual feature on the VW calendar (again).
We hope to get the Australian Karmann Ghia Association website back up online as well.

I saw one (coupe) parked in Edward Street Brisbane on Saturday with a mobile phone number to call but didn't get the number, It wasn't at the cruise either which surprised me a little.

cant wait to get my photos back from the chemist!! hopefully the roll that i think has not worked actually does work, as i took some pretty amazing photos with that roll!
