mine used to open up and search for viagra???
At first i thought one of my sons went looking for it...btu since teh oldest is 17...i kinda wondered....knew it was a virus when it then went looking for roid creme...lol
do urself a favour...run two anti-spy ware programs.....its amazing how much will one picks up, and the the other can pick up str8 after it.
we found out most were being attached str8 after the kids were visiting games sites and downloading...one site in particular...blocked access to the site...very few viruses now.

You have spyware installed on your machine (and probably viruses and trojans as well!)
What you must do:
1. use some REPUTABLE* anti-spyware software such as Adaware to clean off the spyware.
2. use a good anti-virus program to clean off any viruses and trojans.
3. Stop using Internet Explorer, just sufing with it leaves you open to infection. Use Firefox for web surfing instead.
*there are many disreputable programs around that claim to clean your machine of spyware but actually install it!

Can people who go off to the attacked page please let me know:
a) do you visit directly via the forum, or do you start at the new home page (http://www.aussieveedubbers.com/ and then come in?)
b) what browser do you use?
c) if you use Adware, Spybot Search and Destroy or Microsoft Antispyware beta, do they report any nasties?
I use Safari on the Mac, and quite simply don't see these pages. But that doesn't mean that it's not happening.

i start at topic activty and sometimes wen i post something or click on something i go to that page. i think i hav some nasties lurking in my machine, its been weird lately. but i only go to that search engine wen im on the forum. i use internet explaorer

mozilla firefox is a web browser just like internet explorer has added in extra's like pop up blocker,download manager stuff u just dont get in internet explorer. it is also better ecause it hasnt had the exposure of internet explorer and isnt as open to hackers as internet explorer is!
give it a go i use it!

Try going to trendmicro.com and perfroming a house call. well worth the effort. Also try and find microsoft anti-spyware, it is also good. As has been said use adaware and spybot regularly also. This is the high price we pay for the small minded hackers!!

I recommend using Firefox rather than IE. Its free and the mates I've nagged into trying it have all said that it is better than IE. When you install it it will copy across all your bookmarks and stuff so you don't have to worry about loosing anything or spending ages setting it up.

The best (free) anti spyware on the market (for windows and IE users) is a microsoft product still in beta mode.. I have been running it on my office network and home network for about 6 months and thoroughly recommend it.. Has auto updates.. here it is..
