"early middle split seat"
this one for the splitty folk, I have the grab rail on the small fold down seat but not on the long fixed seat, its missing.
I have a ralie who can cast stuff and as I can't seem to find the part for the long seat I thought I'd get him to cast some ends. now are the ends on the small seat the same as the ones on the long seat.

now that you mentioned it, the old" Koala coaches" bus to school at Burleigh heads had these rails.....lol

i was only joking as you know but
what you said about koala coaches
might be worth a drive to a bus depot
garage, they could be about the same size & surely there would be old spares going cheap or nix

The seat you have is an early pre 1960 I think as the later one has plastic coated metal much like the front passenger dash handle.
May well be easy to make the corners as the tube itself is just alloy pipe.
What year bus is this seat going into?
robnjo 路
was going to get the just the ends cast in alloy or some thing like that and sort the pipe out myself.
this seat is going into my 66,I do realise its the wrong one but its a sore point at home and any middle seat is hard to come by...besides this is going to be a daily drive thats all.
*so are the four ends on the grab rail all the same??
(I know there is left and right side)

Hi Rob Have a look at this post on the Samba, does not say there are any differences.
