You know you can contact eGay and have bad feedback removed?

If you have good reason to contest the feedback they will remove it. Sounds like you have more than a good enough reason.

EGay! are total vankers, they dont listen at all, i won a car the other week, then the guy refused to sell to me, sold out of eGay, i contacted eGay and they said i should leave appropiate feedback, i left Neg feedback and two days later he left me Neg, eGay now says its fair, luckily i used my wifes new eGay account not volksfolks, i contacted square trade (a eGay co), they said they need my credit card details, just in case the other person responded, the proceeded to charge me $40 to tell me there is nothing they can do about it, i reversed the payment and contacted eGay only not to get a reply.

i have had it with this company and will only be sellinf a few items, remember eGay is a floated company and all that matters is $$$$

Sounds like you had a bad experience Andy.

I like eBay though: I can find parts and accessories very easily that I would otherwise have to hunt for. I've even found some things that I wouldn't have known existed if I hadn't searched for "VW" on eBay!

So just make sure you check the bidders out, mine had 14 negatives for similar...hope to bump into 'em at a how one day and explain it in person.nn[ Edited on 25-7-2005 by crewcabconnection ]

I sent you a direct debit for the indicator and surround, including the $8 postage. So far it hasn't arrived and I have had no contact from you through ebay.

As a seller you can advise people with neg feedback to contact you first

or

you can refuse/delete their bid.

Never send your item until money has been cleared in your account

Two reconditioned 6 v starters for $10.50 each!?? I would not sell them at that price either. Good on you! Fair is fair!

Yeah, it's been baby 3 time at home, and it's the last week before HSC trials, so school is flat out with meetings and stuff, so aint got to the post office before today.,

Will be at yours in the next day or so, with an appology for the delay and a small VW gift.

I don't have 'internet banking' etc., and so have to go to the bank to get the info, and I'm at work, so with one thing and another its been mad.....good news....it wasn't in the boot of the car with the other stuff.

Sorry man...if you aint 100% happy when it shows up, then email me yer bank details and I'll give ya the $10 back, no worries.nn[ Edited on 27-7-2005 by crewcabconnection ]

I thought it was always buyer beware?

I have just won a Holden part on Ebay and from the e-mail I received from the seller thanking me for winning, and details etc, I have realised it is a guy who has been involved in businesses going broke a few times, and I know people who have been burnt by him in the past. Now that was over 3 years ago, and his eBay feedback is nearly perfect for someone with over 200 transactions? Still if I get burnt over this, it is only $24.00
Maybe he has changed? Maybe he is not a good people person, and Ebay is where he fits in, because the rules keep him in line? I will wait and see.
