Hi
In QLD the lowest part of the car must be at least 100mm from the ground whether that be body work or exhust etc.

barls ·

what he said its australia wide as its in the adrs. from lowest point to the ground

squizy ·

Just to add to this....10cm off the ground is the minimum, but also the middle most point of the headlights must be greater than 59cm.

VWFOOL ·

i heard the exhaust doesnt count, is that tru, in NSW?

barls ·

nope to the lowest point be it the exhaust or body

helbus ·

The only bit that doesn't count is brakes.

59cm to the headlight?

There are a lot of new cars that can't pass this

I have heard it must be the lowest point of the car where it's measured from, and 100mm off the ground. Some people say it's the size of a coke can.

PrettyBlueBug ·

Ooops... I don't think a coke can can fit under my car! LOL 😉

thanks everyone.
At least i now have something to aim for with the height.
