Hi vw typ2 - Im after it for an off road racing baja which was originally set up to run a holden 6 cyl. I bought the car complete with cams log book less G/box (found one-1600 irs kombi) & Conversion & Motor.

are you using an inline or v6 engine?

It was set up for a red motor inline six ( my thoughts on a motor were a VK Commodore black 3.3 fuel injected motor) to go back in it. But if I cant locate an adaptor/conversion kit im open to offers to consider other types of adaptor conversion kits.

Indian has adaptor plates...uses VS/VT engines, but yer gearbox will be an issue...that's where the money wil be spent....
