well our little daughter has made an early apperance into the world. Born last night at 7.30pm, 8 pound 6 and as healthy as can be. she came just under 2 weeks early but happy to see her even if i was on top of lamington National park with 48 passengers but luckily work was wonderful and helped me get back into brisbane within 3 hours. baby Sabrina and Mum are all well . I Want to take her to the next offroad short course in 2 weeks but have been told its to early. I say its never to early for fast cars and dirt.
Looking forward to bringing her home in the Kombi and her little outfit which suits the occasion perfectly.

Congrats matey.

Little girls are the loveliest things. You can dress em up and they're so sweet. Ours is 18 months and has just learnt to give proper hugs. 😍

I've already started indoctrinating her in VWs. She loves riding in my buggy.

congrats wag67! know the feeling, been there four times, my wife says " its all your fault !"

amazer ·

I dunno about taking her dirt racing, she could snap her neck.
Kids are great slave labour, and they can get their hands in the smallest of places. And they just love getting their hand sdirty, not like their mothers.

Congratulations!

kroozzn63 ·

congratulations , My wife is due 10 days from now ,its getting exciting, you must be very proud.

Wag67 ·

thank you all for the well wishes.it is one of the greatest joys in life but for those that are new to this be prepared for lack of sleep and do all you can for the mum. my wife had it a bit bad due to pain but with love and drugs and a tough wife we are getting thru it. well i have to go change another nappy. how can one little girl shit so much

amazer ·

dont let the women fool you. Its jsut another way they try to keep power over us.

Gas, Pethidene, Epidural... how can you feel anything with all that. Us blokes go through it all with no aid whatsoever AND we actually have to have the ugly view of things. We can SEE alll the scary stuff. 😏

I remember the birth of my monster well. Worst 26 hours of my life. One of the reasons I aint ever going back there again. But after that its all gooey mushy love so its not TOO bad. Except for ballet lessons/concerts/$100 per month.

well it would off been good to get the pain killers but due to a bent spine no spinal block was given so my wife went under general and had a c section and then had to wait well over half an hour for the morphine to kick in and even that didn't help all that much. was is pain for the first day and had fluid on the lungs which wasn't helped due to a old case of phneumonia so coughing just made it that much painfull.so one healthy baby is fine for us and for anyone thinking of having a baby , think long and hard about going natural and have a spinal block
