Went to a Machinery and vintage day yesterday. Man those guys are intense! I couldn't believe the standard of workmanship and the level of skill of some of the exhibters. Fully restored old, Cars, tractors, trucks and earthmoving equipment, stationary engine's diesel and steam, pumps, and all sorts of old workshop equipment. Bloody great day. It was run by a restorer's club. They have bought 20 acre's of land and have a community set up happening, for a small lease you can put up your own shed and and do what ya like, restore tractors, or whatever. All the trades are covered. They have a fully operational blacksmiths shop, engineering shed, woodworking/joinery shed, everthing! all on the one site, awsome! Looks like I may have found myself another interest to go with my Volkswagen addiction!
