This has been my first month of ADSL and I have to say I am quite dissapointed with myself.
I have 5GB peak, and another 5GB off peak allowance before shaping. Just went and checked my usage and i have used hardly any. it says "You have 2644.70 MB quota, and 4963.39 MB offpeak quota remaining until shaped at 64k"
So im wasting it, what can I download. what do you guys download... if you are game enough to say and its almost legal.

On Optus it is basically 1 gig or 12.
We have used 1.1 for the last couple of months and they hit 1.5 with the school holidays thrown in.
I have 2 teanage boys and one sub teenage and they live on it.

I have limewire, been "digitising" my record collection with it off and on. With dialup it was easy. search for 6 songs and start the downloads, come back in 4 hours. Now by the time I search for the second song, the first song is complete. Tis great stuff.

is this supposed to be in gigabyte ,cause if its megabyte i ticked the wrong answer😀 i use between 8 to 12 gig a month as i use bearshare for music and some movies and have 3 teenage children who would live on it if possible😵💫

and as for what to download.........there`s the translation for the code "the usual" as in porn, movies, music and more porn.......but for sheer download power bittorrent is exelent, and if you have a deal with limits, your not trying hard enough.

haha nah we got dsl. i am only 18, brother is 20, parents are early 50's. and we download sweet f%#k all.
i used to use bit torrent. i just dont find the time anymore. im either out clubbing or partying or something or in the garage working shit out with dad.
i think last month we downloaded 2gb at the most.....i dont download much because all the music i listen to is not widely spread amongst the public..therefore not posted up.
Undergroup Hip-Hip is the devil if you believe in downloading music religiously.
but movies..yeah..there are some new ones out now..i think i must get some. games. i dont play much anymore.
i think i probably use most of my download limit from loading all the letters in these posts of mine which seem to ramble on at times.
oh well.

about 20-30gb a month. I play online games, plus lots of films, music etc. It's very easy to use all that!

geez.. and i thought mscabrio and i did alot in a month... averaging around 500MB per month.. last month was 750MB though.. lol... have a lot of catching up to do!

I can do about 150MB a month on dialup. Seems pretty lame compared to 30GB

my mate is on the iinet2 plan.which is 1.5mbit-8mbit varial.
just to show me how much he could download in 2 hours he found whatever he could and started it..
the results suprised even him.

I'd download more if I had the HDD space! Does anyone use BitLord? I'm sick of Limewire's "could not connect" readings on files it says are there to be downloaded....

i have no idea what the traffic is like at my place, my bf is currently starting a hosting business so we download so much!!
at least a couple of gigs a week, but we have no limits or peak times so we are lucky.
movies, games, programs (both legal and not quite) music, etc...
this weeks discovery was a mac emulator for pc. (this means i can run mac OS on Windows or Fedora.)
what i love is on the way home we will think about going to get a movie from the store but instead we find one on bit torrent or something similar, cook dinner and eat and usually the movie is ready!
