Has anyone on the list experience in rebuilding the T3 auto transmission? US contacts I have made suggest it isn't all that difficult, but I'd like to hear some local comment if possible. Yes, I'm thinking of doing it myself.
(Bentley manual is well illustrated.)
Thanks
Dave

Barry,
Mine is slow to change out of 1st when its cold, it has less than 50,000 k's since it was recoed last, runs fine when it has warmed up.
Been told it is some seal that gets hard and leaks fluid, and as the tranny warms up it seals again and works fine. time for the 3rd rebuild!! bastard.nn[ Edited on 8-8-2005 by Dave Becker ]

I allways run slick50 in my autos , my jeep had ( werrrrrrrrrrrr ) coming from the auto .there is no longer a werrrrrrrr in the box .
after pulling down a few autos you can see ones that have has ( aditives ) run through them , the best have been slick50 .its not cheap but works
