###wanted STARTER MOTOR type 1###

Putting 1600 in my 1200 beetle and lookng for a 12 volt starter in good condition, must be in or around Sunshine Coast please.

you cant just fit a 12 volt starter into a 6 v car, you need a conversion bush & you will needd to clearance bellhoussing to get flywheel in

or you may be able to use your 6v starter if you have a 6v fly wheel fitted to your motor {best done by a vw mech}

ive got a 6 volt starter in my baja. works fine. just spins faster.

spins fasta and starts faster

got 6 in the NT if you get stuck.
