just after some advice here guys, when i chuck my bus into reverse and start to move the car vibrates BADLY. revvs seem to have an effect on how bad he vibrations are, as does the slope i am parked on. a mechanic in victoria told me to check my clutch cable obe, which is as it should be, a mechanic in NSW told me that the rubber had gone soft in my gearbox mount and to replace it, and without looking at it the guy at sokers said it would be the clutch.
i have bought a replacement rubber which i will try out shortly, i am certain the clutch tube is fine, the clutch itself is only 5000km old and is oversize, so i cant think of any reason it would give me trouble (fragmens of spigot bearing did ge caught in the diaphram when the bearing exploded, but they were removed and the diaphram deemed perfect).
does anyone have any suggesions as to what it could be, do you agree/disagree with the suggestions so far? any advice appreciated.

could be the bowden tube?
you know the rubber tube that goes from the clutch cable tube in the chassis to the gearbox?
Still, I would have thought it would be a problem on launches too. Does it shudder a bit when you take off in first?
Bizarre ·
What does it do in forward gear???
If it is only just started i doubt bowden tube.
Would be thinking gearbox mount?
What happens when you motor brake down a big hill?? Any thunping??
If not affected in forward i doubt clutch / plate??
Just guessing :duh

the rubber bowden tube appears fine, nice and solid, as far as i can tell it doesn happen at all in foward gears or possibly the tiniest but almost completely unnoticable.

this happened to me & it turned out that it was the engine mounts on the rear crossmember broken - when you reverse, the torque lifts the engine up & cna do funny things with accelarator & clutch cables jerking the motor,
