Have a look at this site www.autotrader.co.za In South Africa they kept making T3 vans and buses for about 6 or 7 years after the rest of the world moved on with the T4. Where we stopped with the 2.1 water boxer they built a 2.6 water boxer.I was thinking of importing one but cars in SA are very expensive.
