For Sale:- A pair early 944 Porsche steel trailing arms and spring plates. The trailing arms look identical to late Superbug and 1976 Beetle arms, but are supposed to be stronger than stock VW arms, they also have an extra hole in the spring plate mounting area, which is used for adjusting toe angle with a special eccentric tool. The wheel bearings are also pretty new. The axle is the same as a VW Thing, they also use Kombi CVs. The spring plates are height adjustable and have an eccentric bolt built in to adjust camber. The chassis will need some slight clearancing for the spring plates, because the height adjustment bolt slightly protrudes. These trailing arms and spring plates will fit all IRS Beetles & Type 3s.
The aluminium backing plates seen in the photo are not included.
