Been workin on the split over the last couple of months, its now near ready for the road. Gone through and changed everything to 12 volt, refreshed a 1500 engine, re-trimed the inside as original, dismantled everything that moves and cleaned it, cleaned fuel system with new sender etc, etc, etc.... All that is now left are wheels and suspension. Not 100% on which wheels yet, though suspension will be slammed on bags.
Should be on the road about Jan.....:thumb

My splitty now has a hidden stereo. The last thing i wanted was a stereo showing in the dash, but needed music!
Under seat i made a small box and fitted two 6x9 speakers. This sunk nicely into floor. Then a small amp to power the speakers.
Then the tunes come from my portable MP3 player, 4000 tunes on tap. All totally hidden.

I have converted the split to 12v squiz.
I am really happy with the way its turned out. The system pumps, and there is no way of knowing it has one at all. I have five cars, and four of them i will run like this.

Heaps happy with the look...... Couldn't wait, had to throw a wheel on and check it out.
