what engine mods can b done to a 40hp for soem period performance other than extractors?

fit a spacer plate and wack on a (good)pict34 carby with its own return spring you will be suprised by the difference 👍

Check out the 36HP performance mods thread. Pretty much all the same stuff applies. Judsons, Twin carb set ups. Bigger P & C's. There is some cool stuff you can do to these early engines

yeah look at the 36hp mods except you carnt find bigger Pistons n Barrel kits these have dried up ages ago.

try samba. big bore kits that bolt on to 1200cc. Mahle 83 mm pistons and barrells.. takes acapacity out to about 1380 cc
