We are thinking about some wheels to have made and we would like your help to let us know what you want!?
Sorry no pictures but im sure most of you know what each wheel looks like... if not ill find some pictures...

Alex, can you any wheel made? I want a set of ------- but they only come in 15" & 17" and I really want to run 15x4's on the front and 16 x 7's on the back. If i gave you the 15 X 4's could the place borrow the design, extend the spokes out and make me a set of 16x7's. One off's of course!

how about der steiner rads, these rims are only made in germany at the moment i believe , i was going to buy some but the almost 4k price tag was silly, this would be a good wheel to make

make sure its a decent width. Eg 17 by 7 or 8 etc. Its annoying that most 15 are only 5.5 inch.

yeah it anoying but if you want to go bigger then you have to do heaps of other suspension mods to make everything fit the car.... n most people dont want t o spend the extra bucks

OK - i am biased
But the thing i like about the Spiders is they are 6" and fit!
A 195 sits square on the wheel. The 20ET gives the option of running, say, 195 65 series on the back and getting a nice flush fit or the 36ET and a 205 60/65 series will also sit flush.
The 36ET on a Super sits flush on the front.
I previously had mangel copies and they sat about 12mm proud. Just didnt work. Would have been a pain to lower.
I like a at least a 185 on the front. Handles better and looks better.

Thanks for all your input! all of you ideas have been taken on board.
OK, The BRM's are looking very popular along with the radars. We currently stock the radars but are having some 15x4.5 and 15x5.5 BRM samples sent out to have alook at.
We will look into the 17" BRM's soon but the 15's will be quicker to get for now. The 17" BRMs are popular and would be great. what size would they have to be though?
And! we are also going to get some 4.5" Fuchs for people to use as a spare if they have porsche bolt pattern or to use on the front and have real ones on the rear.

i could do with a pair of 16" empi 8s for the rear of chaos but i think the offset would have to be changed to fit under the stock guards.

I think they are about 2" wider than standard at a guess. I hav'nt got a standard guard to compare them to.Bit new to vw's to know the differences so you might here from us from time to time with some silly questions? It's got 14x7 globe mags at the moment.

I reckon something Unique is the Way to go as per some of the other suggestions (ie the weird ass German Ones), then sell worldwide.
That said, if I could get a set of 17" BRMS In four stud that were 5.5" and the correct offset, I'd be leaving stains in my undies (not brown or yellow stains!!)nn[ Edited on 30-8-2005 by shaginwagin ]

do a 16/17" Fuch maybe, that'd be sweet, and aint been done before. just the repros that are being done arent smooth like the OG ones, the edges on the spokes/petals are too sharp and looks cheap
17" brms are out there but would be sweet for air cooled
do 16' stocks for barndoors, all the fools wanna put them on anything now
