I've got a set of the same ball joint spindles from CB performance that are almost new. They're painted with POR15 black. They do make a beetle handle a lot better than a beam beetle lowered with adjusters.

I'll sell my set for $275.

On a pink or even blue slip inspection I doubt anyone would notice.

You're on the Northern Beaches, that's good so is my car.

Can you tell me ,do the drop spindles add to the track width. Some add about 15mm to the track, is that true?

thanks shane

fullnoise ·

Yes they do add to the width. It's about 10 or 12 mm form memory.

Straight from the CB performance website

Note: CB Ball Joint Dropped Spindles drop your ride a full 2 1/2" and extend the tires out 1/4" on either side.

thats about 6mm a side.

ALL modifications to a car need to be engineered :P

That said - there is modified and modified.

Techically i think sports steering wheels fall in that catagory. :aliennn[ Edited on 30-8-2005 by Bizarre ]
