it opens a little bit further than that but does not completely slide back underneath itself

Thanks very much for doing that for me.If at all possible-would like to also see how they join the seal at the back corners-the seal across the rear lip is a separate piece to the 2 sides and the front.I was afraid that it might go on the body and not the sunroof.Will be a lot harder to attach.If it glued to the sunroof-it could be clamped and stretched then held in place with some timber strips while the glue dries.Again many thanks for the pic.Gary

the seal is stuck to the body. we used contact cement but you only get one go at it using this method
