I am moving house soon and decided to clean out my portfolio as it weighed a ton so I was going through it and found this, it was a project about something like world places or something, pretty funny hey. Its watercolour with pencil, cant belive i used a splitty as I wasn't really into them back then. (12 years ago)

I have a theory about those sorts of art teachers, go something along the lines of, they had no real talent so they had to discourage others. 馃槈
Most of the great artists were rejected by there peers...

Yeah, I hate when teachers say those kinds on things to students, cause anyone has the potential really to do anything if they work really hard and put their mind to it (in most cases). Like my bro for example. He went crap in all his subjects in yrs 8 to 10, and even repeated a year in primary. He also had some loser, retard teacher (whom i will not mention lol) who we nicknamed 'mullet' behind his back, who said that my bro would be absolutely useless and unable to ever succeed at the subjects he was doing. However, my bro used this as motivation to disprove, and ended up with an OP 1 three yrs ago. Not sure if 'mullet' was around to see my bro get it, but yeah. Sorta went abit off the road then, but ay, noice art work man.

I must admit my teacher 'Mr Peak' was proberly the most supportive teacher i ever had.
The fact the 3 of my 5 subects in yr 12 was art oriented and with him was a plus. I still
bump into him no and then and he still knows my name & yes I think I will hang onto this one!
