Fortunately the rain stayed away for the show today - thanks to the vw drivers club of qld for organising the event, there must be a $hitload of work involved in organising a show so well done.
Here are some pics - feel free to add more:nn[ Edited on 11-9-2005 by Dasdubber ]

DasDubber, seeing ur photos were like a breath of fresh air from the standard snaps. makes the audience wonder whats on the other side, or the other part, or the other etc. of the vehicle, and has a noice sense of greatly depicted foregrounds, middle grounds and backgrounds. And its pretty cool with most angles, showing these machines as being dominating with them looking tall. Shows the shininess too, and makes em look like beasts with the foreground focus along with the dark rain clouds in the bg. Conflicting emotions, i like, very schick!

Was that the orange one on the trailer heading down the coast or am I thinking of a different one? I drove past the tough green manx following the orange one on trailer just before nerang in my beetle.
Both manxs (plural?) look super cool! :thumb

Oh BEB - bad planning - just been through moving house also - you got a sore head and I got torn tendon in the right elbow from being the pack mule - shame it wasn't from lifting the amber challis
Congrats to all,
and from what I saw there were some tough choices in some of the classes. Well done to Dasdubber though for the triple pickup 🙂

now keep the goldie show date free and dubs by the pub also to make up for your lack of VW planning..

I was really excited to go to my first VW show in a long time! I saw some that I recognized and some I didn't but it made me eager to have mine on the road asap! One of my faves was the blue 75 kombi with the footon in the back and dasdubbers bug, but they were all awesome 😍

i enjoyed my first car show ever and am going to go to more. i may not have one anything but it was worth it to see what other vw are out there. i got a little sunburnt but i still had a great day out.
