POR 15 - first time user.

Decided to POR 15 the floor pan in my T3 Ghia. Man there is a lot of prep with this stuff. Hope it worth it. How have you all found this stuff to use? I got a Super Starter Pack for $30. Enough to do 1 square metre. Used most of the 100ml can just doing this bit. Looks good tho. Is it worth doing the second coat??

i did my oval fuel tank with the tank sealer stuff... came up a treat! Don't think I'll EVER have to worry about rust in the tank agian....

There IS a bit of prep to do huh? Correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't Barmastic and RustBullet require less prep?

My prep was sandblasting the pan 🙂 then wiping it down with thinner to get rid of the last dust on the surface. Not strictly in accordance with destructions, but it seems to have worked as I dropped the pan a few times on concrete and it hasn't chipped/scratched. I will admit though to giving it all a second coat. Only real reason I wanted a second coat is that as most of it was under the car I didn't want a 'light' coating under there to prevent rust coming back to my car.

I've used Por15 under my car and it was easy to prepare and apply. Just follow the instructions and you'll be sweet. Best stuff ever I reckon.

we did our boat trailer and the rims about 18 months agoin the silver...and still looks like the day after I painted it,AWESOME👍

Great info, I was only just reading about this stuff and was convinced it would not be available here. Nice to know I can get some when I need it.
